Squiggle Wavy Wall Mirror

The Squiggle Wavy Wall Mirror from Decor Auremont keeps the proportions of a classic wall mirror but replaces its straight borders with a rolling wave, which is enough to turn a functional object into the thing people notice when they walk into the room. It reads as playful without tipping into novelty, which is why it works in a grown-up interior rather than only a teenage one.

It is made from premium float mirror glass in a sustainably sourced wood frame, cut on CNC laser equipment so every wave matches the last. Six frame colours are available, black, emerald, gold, red, silver and white, across five sizes from a compact 10 by 15 inches up to a substantial 23 by 35 inches. The standard front-visible frame thickness is 1 cm.

Hang it horizontally above a console, bench or sideboard, or turn it vertically for an entryway, powder room or hallway. All listed dimensions are given as width by height, so check the orientation you want against the size you order before choosing. In a narrow hallway the taller vertical sizes tend to work better than a wide horizontal piece, while above a sideboard the reverse is usually true, so measure the wall rather than guessing from the photographs.
