Where your order ships from

Our goods are shipped to you directly from our suppliers outside Canada. They do not pass through our Quebec address first. This affects how long delivery takes and whether import charges apply, so please read this page before you order.

Where we ship to

We currently deliver to Canada and the United States. Your available options and their cost are shown at checkout once you enter your address. If your country does not appear at checkout, we do not ship there yet.

How long it takes

Within Canada

  • Order processing: 5 to 7 business days
  • Transit: 7 to 15 business days
  • Total, typically: 12 to 22 business days, roughly 3 to 5 weeks

To the United States

  • Typically 3 to 5 weeks in total, depending on customs clearance.

These are estimates. Customs inspections, weather and carrier backlogs can extend them.

Your right to cancel a late order. Under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, if your goods have not been delivered within 30 days of the delivery date we gave you, you may cancel the order at any time before it arrives and receive a full refund. Send written notice to info@decoreauremont.com. The cancellation takes effect the moment you send it, so keep a copy. We must refund you within 15 days.

Shipping cost

Within Canada

  • Standard delivery: $12.00 CAD, and free on orders of $75.00 CAD or more
  • Express delivery: $20.00 CAD

To the United States, delivery is charged by order value:

  • Orders under $100: $19.99
  • Orders from $100 to $299.99: $34.99
  • Orders of $300 and over: $59.99

Our prices are set in Canadian dollars. If you are shopping from the United States, prices and shipping are converted and shown in US dollars at checkout using current exchange rates.

Duties, taxes and brokerage fees

Please read this carefully. These charges are not included in what you pay us.

Deliveries in Canada. Parcels entering Canada from outside the United States and Mexico attract customs duties plus GST and QST once the declared value passes CAD $20. Couriers also charge a brokerage fee for clearing the parcel through customs.

Deliveries to the United States. Since 24 June 2026 the United States has indefinitely suspended its $800 de minimis exemption for goods arriving by courier. In practice this means you should expect to pay import duties and a customs entry or brokerage fee on your order, whatever its value. The old rule that let low value parcels enter duty free no longer applies to courier shipments. We tell you this plainly because we would rather you knew before you ordered than found out from a courier at your door.

In both cases:

  • The courier collects these from you before or on delivery.
  • The amounts are set by the customs authority, not by us, and we cannot calculate them in advance.
  • If you refuse to pay them, the parcel is returned to the sender or destroyed, and we cannot refund that order.

Split shipments

If your order contains items from more than one supplier, it may arrive in separate parcels on different days, each with its own tracking number. You are not charged twice for shipping. Please note that each parcel entering the United States is cleared separately and may attract its own customs charges.

Tracking

You get a tracking number by email as soon as your parcel is dispatched. The first scan can take up to 48 hours to appear, and tracking often goes quiet during long transit legs and while a parcel waits in customs. That is normal and does not mean it is lost. Follow it on our tracking page.

Addresses

Please check your address before ordering. We can correct an address before dispatch but not once the parcel is with the carrier. A parcel returned because the address was wrong or nobody collected it can be reshipped at your cost, or refunded less shipping.

Photograph the box and the contents and tell us within 7 days. See our Return and Refund Policy.
