Payment Policy

What we accept

Every payment method available to you is shown at checkout before you pay.

Currency

Prices are displayed and charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add a foreign transaction fee. That fee is your bank's, not ours.

When you are charged

Payment is taken in full when the order is placed. We never see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment providers on encrypted connections.

Sales tax

We are registered for GST and QST. Both are calculated at checkout and itemized on your receipt.

Duties and import charges are separate

Our goods ship directly from suppliers outside Canada. Customs duties, GST, QST and a courier brokerage fee are collected by the courier on delivery on parcels valued over CAD $20. These are not included in what you pay us and we cannot calculate them in advance. Full detail is in the Shipping Policy.

What you receive

You get an emailed confirmation itemizing each product price, shipping, taxes and the total payable. Under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act we send you a copy of the contract within 15 days of the purchase. Keep it. It is the document that lets you exercise your cancellation rights.

Declined payments

If payment is declined the order is not placed and no stock is held. Check the details with your bank and try again, or contact us.

Pricing errors

If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price we may cancel and refund in full before dispatch. We email you if that happens.
