Tender Hold Sculpture Vase

The Tender Hold Vase takes an idea that is hard to put in an object, the warmth of being held, and gives it a form. Two sculpted hands wrap around a flowing organic vessel, so the piece works as sculpture first and a vase second. Each vase is professionally 3D printed to order in Premium PLA, a plant-based, ROHS-compliant material that is lightweight, durable and safe for the home. It is not ceramic, and the subtle layer lines visible across the surface are a natural signature of precision 3D printing rather than a defect. Slight variation between pieces comes with the process, which means no two are quite identical.

The hands and vessel can be specified in separate colours, so the piece can be matched to a room or made into something one of a kind. The 8 inch size measures 5.2 by 5.2 by 8 inches. It is designed for dried flowers, pampas grass, faux florals and decorative branches; for fresh flowers, drop a waterproof glass or plastic liner inside to hold the water.
